Write-protecting Your Images (PROTECT)
You can protect files from being accidentally deleted.
Caution
Protected files cannot be deleted normally. However, they will be deleted completely if you
format the memory where the files are stored.
Protecting Files
1. Press th e 6 (P layback) b utton.
The last shot taken is displayed.
2. Press th e #$ buttons to display the file you want to
protect.
3. Press th e M/O butt on.
The Playback Setting menu appears.
4. Press th e " button to select
[PRO TECT] an d press the $
bu tto n.
5. Make sure t hat [1 FILE] is selecte d,
and th en p ress the M/ O
bu tto n.
