1 . Before Setting Up •Requirements This chapter explains the setup flow and computer requirements of this application. Read this chapter thoroughly before setting up this application. Requirements 1 To run this installer, your computer must meet the following requirements. Before setup, check that all the requirements are met. These are the transform client and server requirements and end-user client requirements for the AFP2PDF Plus Transform: • Transform client requirements: – – – – – – IBM AIX 7.

Installing the AFP2PDF Plus Transform using the graphic user interface To run the transform, perform these steps: 1. 2 Use the following commands: Full Version java -jar setupafp2pdfPlus_.jar Trial Version java -jar setupafp2pdfPlus__Trial.

Installing the AFP2PDF Plus Transform using the graphic user interface • This step applies only when you install the transform on a UNIX based operating system. 5. Choose the installation type dialog box. 2 New Install 1. Select New Install for a clean installation of the transform. 2. Click Next to continue the installation process and browse the destination folder for the installation of the transform. 3. If the product is already installed in the selected folder, choose another destination folder.
2 Using the AFP2PDF Plus Transform 2 Upgrade 1. Select Upgrade to upgrade to the latest version of the transform. 2. Click Next to continue the installation process and browse the path for the update of the transform. 3. If the product is not installed in the selected folder, choose another destination folder.

This shows what you have chosen to install and the location. To complete the installation process, click Install. The installing dialog is displayed to show the installation status.
2 Using the AFP2PDF Plus Transform 2 7. Click Done to close the installer. Installing AFP2PDF Plus Transform from command line To start the command line installer, perform these steps: 1. Open a command prompt. 2. Run the following command: java -jar setupafp2pdfPlus_.jar to start the graphic user interface installation. • You can force the command line installation of the transform by adding the -i console parameter: java -jar setupafp2pdfPlus_.jar -i console.
