Turning the Power On

• Plug and unplug the power cable with dry hands, or an electric shock could occur.

Power Switch

• Power Switch (front left)

Setting this switch to Stand by makes the power lamp on the control panel unlit. The machine

is then in stand by mode.

• Make sure the power cable is plugged securely into the wall outlet.

• Turn the power to Stand by when plugging and unplugging the power plug.

• Do not switch to Stand by immediately after turning on the power switch. Doing so may result in

damage to the hard disk or memory, leading to malfunction.

1. Open the switch cover and make sure the power is set to Stand by.

2. Turn the power on.

The power indicator on the control panel lights up.
