The instructions in the Use & Care Manual supplied with the water heater should be followed in addition to
the following instructions. Read these instructions thoroughly and understand all steps and procedures before
proceeding with the installation.
Water heaters intended for operation on 208
volts and having input rates from 5000 to
6000 watts are wired in accordance with the
following wiring diagram. The stripes on the
wires indicate that they rated for this applica-
tion.
If the wiring in your water heater does not
have the stripes indicated in the diagram, do
not connect it to the supply voltage. Call
800-432-8373 for further instructions.
