Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect power at service switch.
2. Disconnect lead wires on element to be replaced.
3. Shut off water supply and drain tank below level of
element opening.
4. Remove old element from water heater.
5. Select element which agrees with wattage and voltage of
element to be replaced.

7. Assemble element to flange and tighten securely. Flange
has boss at threaded opening, boss goes inside talk.
8. Bolt assembly to tank using one of the gaskets supplied
with flange.
9. Turn on water supply and fill tank with water, checking for
leaks. Purge all air from tank by opening hot water faucet
until water flows evenly.
