5.3.1 Print Quality Label
The P rint Q uality Label provides an indic ati on of overall print quality at a pre-select ed hea t and speed set ti ng. This f ormat
consis ts of c ompliant bar c odes in f ence and ladder orientations, a ssorted font si z es , and graphic fill p at terns. These can be
used t o ens u re conformanc e, as well a s aest hetic s. To p rint a Print Q uality Label:
 Press the
Ke y.
 Use the
FWD
Key t o scroll to ‘ Pr int Q uality Label’.
 Us e the Key to select a quantity; see Section 5.0.3.
 Press the Key to sta r t pr inting.
Good Prin t Qualit y L a bel:
Even pattern consistency
indicates correct printhead
operation.
Faulty P rint Qualit y L a bel:
Streaks indicate a dirty or
faulty printhead. See Section
6.1 f or cleaning instructions.
