5.1.7 Diagnostics
HEX DUMP M ODE ♦
M ost c ommonly used f or tr oubles hooting. P rint s data a nd instructions received from
the host ra ther than interpr eting them as label for mats; see Section 7.2.
ENABLED
Prints r a w ASCII data r eceived from the host r a ther than executing the commands.
DISABLED
Executes and prints label formats ( normal operating mode).
OPTIONS TESTING ♦
Allows or perf orms diagnosti c s of specif ic options within the printer.
TEST PRESENT SENSOR
P erforms a fu nc ti onal tes t of t he p resent sensor.
TEST CUTTER
P erforms a fu nc tiona l test of the cutter.
PERFORM TEST
1 TIME
The test will cycle the selected number of times (1, 10, or 100) with the results
displayed following eac h at tempt .
PRINT TEST RATE (min) ♦
000 (0-120)
The number of minutes to delay between the printing of batches of Quick Test
Labels.
SENSOR READINGS ♦
Analog Sensor r eadings are dis played.

24V = 24 volt DC power supply sensor ;
PS = Present sensor;
HD = head- down sensor; and,
R AN K = the value of the p rinthead ranking resis tor .
