ABSOL UTE COUNTER
S hows the number of inc hes print ed s inc e b eing set at the factory. Not reset tabl e.
RESETTABLE COUNTER
The number of i n ch es pri nted si n ce the last reset . User may reset.
RESET COUNTER
Resets the Resetta ble Counter to zero.
PRINT CONFIGURATION
Pr ints the effect ive configur at ion of the sys tem. In a ddition, if settings wer e cha nged
t hat require a reset to b ecome eff ective, this will b e indicated with the ‘§’ symbol.
A bulleted item (•) indicates that it was changed via the host, but not sa ved in non-
vol ati le memory .
CONFIGURATIO N LEVEL ♦
To upgrade the application program (resident software) version of the printer, the
ha rdwa re and s of tware comp atibility levels mus t matc h f or the update t o be ac c epted.
This inf ormation is disp layed here; it is also printed on a c onf igura tion label.
Each p rinter has a unique Key nu mber in the following form:

c – represents the pr inter class.
w – r epres ents hardwa r e featur e level of the ma in board.
xx – represents the softwa r e featur e level:
10 = St a ndard DPL
20 = Internal CG Times Font
Software feature levels are accepted up to the ‘xx’ value (increases
beyond this level r equ ire an authorization c ode) .

Displays the Ap plic at ion version of the p rint er’ s firmware.
BOOT L OADER
Displays the Boot Loader version of the p rint er’ s firmware.
UPGRADE PRINTER CODE
This function is used to upgrade the software feature level of the printer. Datamax
a uthorization is required.
UNLO CK FEAT URE
This function is used to unlock the additional optional features within the printer.
Datamax authorization is required.
