5.1.5 System Settings
CONF IG URATI ON F IL E
Options for storage and recall of printer configuration files. See Appendix E for
details.
RESTORE AS CURRENT
P r ovides a lis t of a va ila b le c onfigu r a tion f iles. S elect ing a file fr om t he list ca us es a
printer reset; after ward, the printer is configur ed according to the activated file.
SAVE SETTING AS
Saves the entire effective configuration of the printer to a file. Unique names with
up to nineteen characters are possible.
DELETE FILE
Provides a list of available configuration files. Files selected are immediately
removed, f reeing the module.
Note: A currently activated file can not be deleted.
FACTORY SETTI NG FILE
Provides a list of available configuration files. The selected file will be restored
whenev er a Lev el 1 reset i s p erf o rmed; see Sec tion 6.7.

DEFAULT MODULE

Sets the default module used to store files when no other module is specified.

SCALEABLE FONT CACHE

Sets the number of 1K blocks allocated for the scaleable font engine. Available
memory dep endent upon model.
SINGL E BY TE SYMBOLS
Selects the code page used to print single byte fonts unless otherwise specified in DPL.
PC_850 MULTI LINGUAL
One of many selectable standard sets; see the Class Series Programmer’s Manual
for det ails.
DOUBL E BY TE SY M BOL S
When equipped with the ILPC option, this selects the code page used to print double
byte fonts unless otherwise specified in DPL; see the Class Series Programmer’s
Manual.
