5.1.4 Printer Options
MODULES

presence of the respective memory module must be detected to show the function
selections in the menu system.

PRINT FI LE
The user ma y select f rom a list of available files f or samp le print ing.
FORMAT MODULE

erased.
DELETE FILE
T he u ser may select from a list of a vaila ble files for delet ing (pr otect ed modules will
not a pp ear ) . Byt es will not b e r etr ieved unt il t he module tha t cont a ined t he deleted file
is packed.
PACK MODULE
Packing the module removes files marked as deleted and defragments existing file
structures to recover space.
PRESENT SENSOR
Used for on-demand label dispensing, where a printed label blocking the sensor will
inhibit further printing until removed. (The physical presence of the Present Sensor
must be detected to show the ENABLE/DISABLE selections, else NOT
INSTALLED will be dis played momentarily).
MODE
S ets Present Sensor to desired mode of op erat ion.
AUTO
Enables the present sensor when option is installed – present sensor or peel and
pr esent mecha nism. S top locat ion (pr esent dis ta nce is a ut oma tic ally s et appr opr iat ely
for the installed hardware.
ENABLED
Enables the sensor for on-demand printing. Stop location (present distance is
automatically set appropriately for the installed hardwa r e.
DISABLED
Disables the sensor.
RETRACTION DELAY
070 x 10mS (1-255)
Time delay p rior to moving lab el t o nex t star t of p rint in milliseconds.
CUTTER
Used to cut media into separate labels. (The physical presence of a device must be
detected to show the ENABLE/DISABLE selections, else NOT INSTALLED will be
displayed momentarily).
AUTO
Enables the cutter when option is installed. Stop location (present distance is
automatically set appropriately for the installed hardwa r e.
ENABLED
Enables cutting.
DISABLED
Disables cutting.
