4.5.3 Step by Step Modification of the Printer Setup
The following is an example of Pr inter Setu p modific ation. Although this example will det ail how to modify t he s erial Ba ud
R ate, the same method c an be u sed to c hange any of the p rint er’s menu it em settings.
 Not e: It is r ecom mended that the Print er Setup Mode not be entered whil e in Peel Mode or with t he optional Present Sensor
enabled. Dependi ng on label size thi s can cause unpredictable results.
1. With printer ‘Off’ a nd properly loaded wit h media , p ress a nd hold the
PAU SE
button while p oweri ng ‘ On’ the p rint er.
C ontinue t o hold the b utton until the
STOP
light tu rns of f , then release it .
2. Press and hold the
FEED
button and cou nt 7 f l ashes of the
ERROR
light , then relea se it . The following printout
s hou ld be p roduc ed:

PAU SE
button one time to increment to the 19200 bps value. T he following printout should be produced:
