Install the bottom element
correctly and reset the ECO

Replace top thermostat
Break in upper circuit wiring loom.
Locate and repair.

Are the top thermostat ECO
contacts closed?
ECO TEST 2
Is the top element installed in
the correct orientation?
Is the tank water 8°C less
than the thermostat
temperature setting?
Does the top element have
the correct resistance?
ELEMENT TEST
Is the neutral contact to the
lower element closed?

Is the bottom element
installed in the correct

Install the top element correctly
