CONNECTIONS – ELECTRICAL
The power supply to the primary heating source and circulating pumps must not be switched on until
the storage tank is filled with water and a satisfactory megger reading is obtained.
No electrical connections are to be made on the storage tank, except if a remote thermostat is fitted. All
electrical work and permanent wiring must be carried out by a qualified person and in accordance with the
Wiring Rules AS/NZS 3000 and all local codes and regulatory authority requirements.
REMOTE THERMOSTAT
It is possible to connect a remote thermostat (Tankstat), Rheem part number 56609162, to the storage tank.
The thermostat well is located at the front of the storage tank at the same height as the primary return
connection.
