Replace the T&PR valve
The continuous addition of cold water will cause
the burner to operate more frequently and can
result in excessive water temperature at the top of
the cylinder while reducing the temperature in the
mid and lower sections of the cylinder. This
condition is known as stacking.
Recommend a hot water
usage pattern that will suit the
water heaters capacity and the
customers needs

position “6” and continue

and cool the water in the cylinder by
drawing off water until the temperature
drops to 50 degrees celcius
