COMMANDS
Network Commands control the settings for Quadra’s Ethernet port. The values
used in this section are typically provided by your facility’s IT specialist. A
summary is listed below. Click the desired command to access detailed
instructions.
Refer to the “Network Commands Descriptions
” section for a complete
description of all network commands.
NETWORK COMMANDS DESCRIPTIONS
The table below lists all network commands, their arguments and detailed
descriptions.

Network Commands Summary
Command Description
IPADDRess Sets the IP address for the Quadra.
IPSubNET Sets the IP subnet mask for the Quadra.
IPGateWay
Sets the Quadra’s IP default gateway.
MACADDRess
Displays the Quadra Ethernet MAC address

Command Arguments Description
IPADDRess [ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd] Sets the IP address for the
Quadra. To
determine the current IP address, enter the
command without an IP address.
Note: New IP address settings will not be
applied until after a system reset.

and IPSubNET.
Default: 192.168.1.200
IPSubNET [ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd] Sets the IP subnet mask. This setting may need
to be changed to suit the configuration of your
network. To determine the current IP subnet
setting, enter the command without the subnet
mask.
Default: 255.255.255.0
IPGateWay [ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd] Sets the IP default gateway. This setting may
need to be changed to suit your network’s
configuration. To determine the current IP
gateway, enter the command without an address.
Default: 192.168.1.1
MACADDRess Displays the current Ethernet MAC address.
Note: This is a read only command.
