USB
The USB menu enables access to
content on connected USB storage
media (USB Memory stick).
All tracks and music folders are displayed
after the USB selection is made. You can
make your selection using the
Page and
Select navigation softkeys. The Browse
softkey opens folders containing more
than one track.
USB storage*
Use the USB connection only for USB
storage up to 32 GB, as large amount of
data can lead to long read-in terms.
Sometimes a capturing of content is
even impossible.
A network hard drive (NAS) with UPnP
service is recommended for a large
music collection.

The Play softkey only appears once a
track is available for selection. Press
Play
to start the playback of the title:
The softkey Pause gives you the
opportunity to pause the playback.
You can scroll to the preceding or the
following track within the folder / album
respectively, using the
Previous and Next
softkeys.
The Shuffle and Repeat functions are
described in detail in the following
iPod
selection menu – see pages 33.
The track names are defined by the names
of the music files. ID3 tags are not
supported for selection.
