Music Player operation
Operating the Kaleidescape
system is divided between playing
music through the Music Player
and showing films through the
Movie Player. The Music Player
can be operated directly at the
M51 and at the M217/M218 wall-
mounted displays or the M208
remote control.
The Movie Player is operated
exclusively through the M208.
You can read about the operation
of the Movie Player in the Movie
Player operation chapter and/or in
the separate instruction manual for
the M208 remote control.
This chapter deals with the
operation options for the Music
Player at the M51 and in the
Multiroom additional rooms.
Operation through the M51
Call the Server source through the
M51 Source menu.
The Kaleidescape Music Player main
menu appears immediately, which
gives you access to all the music
albums that are on the Kaleidescape
server.
The Main menu (see below) offers
you 5 options for searching for the
required music. You can make your
selection with the Select softkeys.
Using the Browse softkey, you can
then call the corresponding selection
menu. Just press on the Home key to
go back to the Main menu from a
sub-menu.
Without having to make any
selection, you can call up and start
the song/album that was last
played, with the Playing softkey.
This is a benefit if an album hadn’t
been played in full and you wanted
to start playing it again from where it
had last stopped.
