Setup menu ~ COMPONENTS [Settings] ~ CONTROL
The serial interfaces can be configured in the sub-menu ~ CONTROL.
The following settings should be made for an error-free communication
with the Kaleidescape module:
RS232 interface
Baud Rate 57600 bit/s
Data Bits 8 bit
Parity Bits None
Stop Bits 1
Flow Control None
Music Player ID
As well as the serial interface setting, the Music Player’s Control Protocol
Device ID must also match up with the defined Device ID in the setup of
the Revox Kaleidescape module.
In the screen shown below, the number 3 was selected.
The permitted input range is 1 – 99. Make sure that no other Kaleidescape
components are using the same number. Also refer to the Chapter Setup
Kaleidescape Module, Section n Identification number.
