EN Water-Resistant Boat with Waterproof Electronics Your new Horizon Hobby boat has been designed and built with a combination of waterproof and water-resistant components to allow you to operate the product in calm, fresh water conditions. While the entire boat is highly water-resistant, it is not completely waterproof and your boat should NOT be treated like a submarine.
EN Box Contents • Revolution® Roguewave™ 10” Self-righting Boat • Boat stand • USB Li-Ion Charger • 2.4GHz Transmitter • 4 AA non-rechargeable batteries (for transmitter) Carefully remove the boat, stand, charger, radio transmitter, and AA batteries from the box. Inspect the boat for damage. If your product is damaged, please contact the hobby shop where you purchased your boat, or contact Horizon Hobby Product Support. Refer to the Warranty and Service Contact Information section for more info.
EN Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC) Discharging a Li-Ion battery below 3V per cell may damage your battery. The included ESC protects the boat battery from overdischarge using Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC). Before the battery charge decreases too much, LVC removes power supplied to the motor. Power to the motor pulses, showing that some battery power is reserved for boat control and safe landing. Disconnect and remove the Li-Ion battery from the boat after use to prevent trickle discharge.
EN Transmitter DUAL FUNCTION SWITCH STEERING TRIM Allows you to adjust the steering trim to ensure the boat tracks straight. Adjust the servo angle by turning the switch up or down. Turn the switch up for a larger servo angle and down for a smaller servo angle. STEERING WHEEL Controls steering. Right and Left steering with ST. REV Switch on N (see ST. REV switch). REVERSE SWITCHES Allows you to change the direction of steering (ST. REV) and throttle (TH. REV) controls.
EN Getting Started IMPORTANT: Perform a control check at the beginning of each boating session, after repair or after installation of new batteries. 1 1. Power on the transmitter. 2. Connect the battery connector to the ESC power connector. 3. Test the transmitter’s steering and throttle control of the boat with the boat on the display stand. NOTICE: Do not operate the motor without water cooling circulation or damage may result. 2 Ah 360m ery 7.
EN Self-Righting Feature the weight loose. If the weight comes loose, glue the weight back in place inside of the ballast. The weight must be placed 60mm forward as measured from the back of the boat. It is normal to have the boat list to the left side when you place the boat in water. This is a natural effect of the built-in water ballast, which helps the boat self-right when upside down.
