Service menu

The service menu offers you information on the currently installed program version, to resume the factory pre-set, to erase the

electronic telephone book or to load the latest program version via the telephone network. In addition to that, you have the possi-

bility to copy the electronic telephone book from one Retell 340 to another Retell 340 via the audio interface. To do so, set one of

the devices to “Receive electronic telephone book data” and set the other Retell 340 to “Send electronic telephone book data”.

The function “factory pre-set” allows you to resume the basic settings. The call list and all recordings (also OGMs and individual

ringing tones) are erased. The electronic telephone book entries are retained. You can erase the entire electronic telephone book

via the function “erase electronic telephone book”. The function “Software download” serves to load the latest program version via

the telephone network. Here, the former program is replaced by the latest version. A download process can take up to 15 minutes

and it will be charged according to your local provider's telecommunication charges. You should only run the download in the case

of technical problems – and after having contacted our technical support.

menu item “service menu”.

Press the select button next to the menu item “service

menu”.

The display shows the service menu. The current program

version is shown in the first display line (at the right side).

The display shows all service menu functions.

Press the select button next to the desired function and

follow the instructions given in the display.
