Use the arrow buttons (up/down) to
select the desired setting parameters.

If you use mailboxes, the VIP, message and remote control codes should not begin with the numbers 1 to 4. This is to pre-
vent that your Retell 340 will switch to the corresponding mailbox when the code number entered first is identified to be 1 – 4.
Should you use the numbers 1 – 4 as the first figures of the code, you have to press the * button before entering the code.
This serves to differentiate between code and mailbox entries.
Mailbox handling
When you have implemented mailboxes, the corresponding symbols are shown in the display. During the answering mode, the
number of recorded incoming mailbox messages is displayed at the right side of the symbol. For new and not yet played back
