Automatic redialling/Call-back on busy
You can set the Retell 340 to automatically re-dial busy numbers (up to 10 dialling attempts can be executed). If the function
“Call-back on busy” also known as CCBS (completion of call to busy subscriber) is chosen, your telephone will ring as soon as the
target subscriber replaces his handset. But, this function needs to be supported by your telephone network and your telephone
system (see also operating instruction of the telecommunications provider or operating instructions provided by the manufacturer
of your telephone system). Normally, you need to dial a specific character/numeric string (e. g. HOOK FLASH *37#) to activate the
call-back on busy function. This string needs to be pre-set as described under “Settings”.
