Use the arrow button (right) and the corresponding entry
keys to enter further letters for a generic search (up to 5
characters).
The entries in question are shown in the display and can be se-
lected.
Checking and changing entries

Search for the name as described under “Searching for
entries”.

Press the select button next to the desired name for 2
seconds.
The display shows the entry field for the name and the tele-
phone number. The cursor blinks.
Take out your changes.
To end the entry, press stop several times. The changes are saved. The display resumes the initial state.
Dialling via the electronic telephone book
You can dial all numbers stored in the electronic telephone book of your Retell 340 directly.

Select the name as described under “Searching for en-
tries”.
Press the select button next to the desired name. The device starts dialling the corresponding telephone number.
You can listen to the dialling process via the built-in loud-
speaker.
When the dialling process is complete, just pick-up the
handset to hold the conversation.
The display shows a stopwatch indicating the current and the
actual duration of the call.
