To delete the entire entry, press the select button next to
the “delete” symbol for 2 seconds.
The entire entry is deleted.
Press the select button next to the empty entry field for the
telephone number.
The cursor is positioned in the TELEPHONE NUMBER field.
Use the arrow buttons (up/down) to enter the first digit of
the telephone number.
The display shows the numbers and special characters. The spe-
cial characters stand for:
~ = Wait for dialling tone / 3 secs. pause
i = Internal (for telephone systems)
F = Flash (for telephone systems)
Move to the next entry position pressing the arrow button
(right).
The cursor jumps to the next entry point.
If you need to move the cursor to the left, e. g. to overwrite
a number, you can do that by pressing the arrow button
(left).
The cursor moves to the left side.
Use the arrow button (down) to insert a character or num-
ber.
A blank is inserted at the left side of the cursor.
To delete a character or number position the cursor to the
point in question and press the select button next to the
“delete” symbol.
The character or number at the cursor position is deleted.

To end the entry, press stop several times. The entry is saved. The display resumes the initial state.
As for telephone systems, the exchange access code is automatically dialled before a telephone number (see also “Settings,
Telephone systems/Exchange identification code”). In order to grant that the exchange identification code is not used auto-
matically for internal calls, you have to dial “i” before dialling an internal extension number.
