The BiPAP S/T is intended to provide noninvasive ventilation for pediatric
patients 7 years or older > 40 lbs (18.2 kg) and adult patients > 66 lbs (30 kg)
withrespiratoryinsufciencyorobstructivesleepapnea.Thisdevicemaybe
used in the hospital or home.
NOTE: Thedeviceisintendedforusewithnasalmasksandfull-face
masks as recommended by Respironics.
NOTE: The device is to be used only on the instruction of a trained
health care professional.
WARNING: TheeffectivenessofBi-Flextherapyhasnotbeen
established for pediatric patients at this time.
