1. From either the Monitoring or Standby screens, press the Right User button until you reach this
screen. e Rise Time Setting screen is shown in Figure 6–8.

2. Increase or decrease the rise time setting from 1 to 6 by pressing the HEAT or RAMP button until
you find the right setting. A setting of 1 is the fastest rise time, while 6 is the slowest.
6.2.2.2 Changing the ramP starting Pressure
e device is equipped with an optional ramp feature. is feature will reduce the pressure and then
gradually increase (ramp) the pressure to the prescription pressure setting so you can fall asleep more
comfortably.
NOTE: e ramp feature is not prescribed for all users. If the screen shown in Figure 6–9 does not
appear on your display, you cannot adjust this setting.
To change the ramp starting pressure setting, complete the following steps:
1. From either the Monitoring or Standby screens, press the Right User button until the Ramp Start
Setting screen appears, as shown in Figure 6–9.

2. Press the HEAT or RAMP button to increase or decrease the ramp starting pressure as needed. You
can adjust the setting from 4.0 cm H
2
O to your EPAP setting.
6.2.2.3 Changing the led BaCklight setting
When airflow is turned on and the device is in the Operate state, you can turn the control pad lighting
behind the buttons on or off using the LED backlight setting.
NOTE: e lights are always on when the airflow is off and the device is in Standby.
To change the LED backlight setting, complete the following steps:
