Unpacking and Positioning
1. U
npack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described i
n
c
hapter waste management.
2. Completely remove the transport-protection. Be very careful and do not use
any aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove residuals of the transport-
protection.
3. Install the appliance in a suitable position with an adequate distance from
sources of heat and cold.
4. Check that the appliance and the power cord are not damaged.
5. Connect the appliance to a dedicated socket only.
NOTICE!
Strictly observe the relevant information for the first use in chapter 7.

nstall the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place.
7. Protect the appliance from direct sunlight.
8. Do not install the appliance near sources of heat as radiators, ovens etc.
9. Do not install the appliance in a place where it may come in contact with
water or rain; otherwise the insulation of the electrical system will be
damaged.
10. The doors must open completely and without hindrance.
11. Install the appliance on a level, dry and solid floor. Check the correct
installation with a bubble level.
12. Do not cover or block the cover panel of the compressor at the back of the
appliance.
13. Connect the appliance to the mains properly.
14. The nameplate is situated inside the appliance or at the back.
