Please Note - In this window you can press the “Delete” key on your keyboard or the “Delete Channel”
button. Either of these actions will delete the selected channel settings. When you press the “Spacebar” on
your keyboard or click the “Change Status” button it will change the selected channel’s status between active
and inactive. When a channel’s status is set to inactive, the software will ignore it.
Step3 - Change the settings of one channel
The “Delete Channel” button will delete a channel’s settings and restore this channel to null.
The “Change Status” button will change this channel between an active and inactive status.
Local
If you select the Local option the highlighted channel will be able to capture video from any
cameras (or other devices) directly connected to the local computer. Within the Local section you
can select the video source, size, frame-rate and audio source. If you have TV card this is where the
desired channel selection is made.
Net
If you select the Net option the highlighted channel will connect to a remote network cameras or
remote computer that is also running H264WebCam software. The network address must be a
dotted decimal IP Address such as 202.96.11.1 , or a domain such as timhillone.dyndns.org. You
also can set a pc name that can be resolved through name services (such as DNS) on the local
network.. Also you can select “H264 User” and enter a user name such as “timhillone” or “Mike.”
