Installation and Connection
Pay attention to the information in the chapter “Preparations for Installa-
tion”!
Remove the mounting plate from the rear of the LED wall light. Therefore, unscrew
both screws on the upper side and bottom of the housing of the LED wall light.
Mark the positions for installation on the wall, through the holes of the mounting
plate.
Push the mains cable through the appropriate cable bushing in the mounting plate
and attach the mounting plate to the wall using suitable screws and wall plugs, if
necessary.
When drilling mounting holes or screwing into place, ensure that no existing cables
or pipes are damaged.
Connect the mains cable using the terminal strip in the LED wall light’s housing
(brown cable = L/phase, blue cable = N/neutral line, green/yellow cable = PE/earth,
earth symbol).
The protective earth conductor must be connected.
When the LED wall light is replacing another existing light and no protective
earth conductor is available, the LED wall light must not be mounted. First,
draw a new mains cable.
If no protective earth conductor is connected, the mains voltage might
charge the metal housing of the LED wall light in the case of a fault. There is
a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
Make sure only the minimum required length of the cable is stripped; other-
wise it could cause a short-circuit.
Also check the other screwing connections at the terminal strip (for the con-
nection cables of the light) and fasten them, if necessary.
Place the LED wall light on the mounting plate.
Make sure that the mains cables or the cables of the light itself are not
pinched or trapped.
Tighten the two screws that you removed at the beginning again, so the LED wall
light is secured to the mounting plate.
Switch on the mains voltage and make sure that the LED wall light is functioning.
If the LED wall light does not light, switch off the mains voltage immediately
(take out the fuse or switch off the automatic cut-out, switch off the ground
fault circuit breaker).
Then check the connection for the LED wall light.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g., an electrician)!
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by
a specialist. The LED bulbs used are permanently installed; they cannot be replaced.
Before cleaning, turn off the mains power for the LED wall light; let the LED wall light
cool sufficiently.
You can use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Dust can be very easily removed with
a soft, clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use aggressive, chemical or scouring cleaning agents, as this may lead to dis-
colouration or changes in the material on the surface.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed in the household waste.
Dispose of the product at the end of its serviceable life in accordance with
the current statutory requirements; e.g., return it to any suitable collection
point.
