• The LED wall light may be operated only on the mains voltage (see section
“Technical Data”). Never try to operate the product at another voltage, as
this will cause its destruction.
• The LED wall light is designed according to Protection Class I; the protec-
tive earth conductor must be connected.
If there is not a mains supply provided with a protective earth conductor
at the place of installation, the LED wall light must not be connected/used
there. In this case, install a new voltage supply with a protective earth
wire.
During installation, all poles must be disconnected from the mains voltage
via a cut-off device (e.g., an RCD).
• The LED wall light may be installed and used only in dry indoor rooms;
it must not get damp or wet! There is a risk of a life-threatening electric
shock!
• The LED wall light must not be operated via a dimmer.
• Do not install and use the LED wall light in rooms,
or under adverse en-
vironmental conditions, where combustible gases, vapours
or dust are or
may be present. There is a risk of explosion!
• Use the LED wall light only when it is permanently installed. Never install
the LED wall light in vehicles.
• Do not install or attach objects (e.g., decorative material) to the LED wall
light.
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LED wall light must not be exposed to extremes of temperature, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible,
disconnect the LED wall light immediately and secure it against inadvert-
ent operation. After this, arrange for an expert to check the LED wall light.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the LED wall light has visible damage
- the LED wall light does not work at all or works poorly (where there
is flickering light, leaking smoke or a burning smell, audible crackling
noises, or discolouration to the product or to adjacent surfaces)
- the LED wall light was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer’s Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operat-
ing Facilities are to be observed.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical department or another specialist.
Preparations for Installation
Please consult the chapter “Safety Instructions”!
• Install the LED wall light only on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are
suitable for the surface. Use the LED wall light only when it is permanently installed.
• The LED wall light must be installed out of the reach of children.
• The LED wall light must be fused in the fuse box of the building by a 10/16A fuse. An
earth fault circuit interrupter must be installed before this (residual current circuit
breaker).
• The LED wall light must be voltage-free during installation. It is not sufficient to just
turn off the light switch.
Turn the power off and ensure that none of the poles are live by removing the corre-
sponding
electrical circuit’s fuse or switching off at the circuit breaker. Then, switch
off the associated earth fault circuit interrupter (breaker)
. Secure it against unauthor-
ised reconnection, e.g., with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current, e.g., with an appropriate tester.

Intended use
The LED wall light is intended for the illumination of indoor areas; it must be mounted
and operated only in dry, closed interiors. The product is intended for installation on
a wall.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may
be modified or converted.

Explanation of Symbols, Inscriptions
The lightning symbol inside a triangle is a warning to inform you of potential
risks of personal injury, such as electrical shock.
This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function and
use.
The “arrow” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The product is intended only for installation and use in dry interiors; it must
not be exposed to moisture or dampness.
The light cannot be dimmed.

Safety Instructions
Read the complete operating manual carefully before using the product, as
it contains important information about the proper installation and opera-
tion.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any re-
sulting damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions. The warranty will be void in such cases!
Caution!
The product may be installed only by a qualified technician (electrician)
who is familiar with the relevant regulations (e.g., VDE, German electrical
wiring regulations).
Improper work carried out at the mains voltage endangers not only your
life, but also the life of others!
If you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not install it
yourself, but entrust the work to a qualified electrician.
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not al-
lowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The LED wall light is not a toy and therefore does not belong in the hands
of children! There is a risk of a fatal electric shock! Install the LED wall
light in such a way that it cannot be reached by children.
