Operation
Do not use with mobile devices that contain a hard drive. Hard drives are damaged
by the holder’s magnetic force. You must observe the related instructions in your
mobile device’s operating instructions before use with the holder.
Do not use with wireless chargers and technologies (e.g. Qi). The metal plate can
become very hot and cause damage and injury.
• Mount the holder, referring to the illustration. Slightly tighten the clamp ring (5).
• Attach the included metal plate (1) to the back of your smartphone or its protective case using the adhesive
tape (if the metal plate is already seated on the holder (2), remove it before attaching the smartphone).
• Plug the plug (10) into the cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle (12 – 24 V on-board voltage). The power
indicator (8) turns on.
• Place the metal plate with smartphone on the holder. The metal plate is held to the holder by magnetic
force.
• Position the gooseneck (7) and the holder. Tighten the clamp ring to secure the holder’s position.
- Please hold the plug (10) tightly when changing the position to prevent damage to the cigarette lighter
socket.
• The USB inputs (9) are intended for charging smartphones/tablets. Connect the supplied charging cable or
another suitable charging cable with the USB inputs. Always turn off the device you wish to charge before
connecting and disconnecting it.
- Please observe the USB inputs’ maximum charging currents (see illustration).
- Do not exceed the maximum current consumption of all USB inputs (see Technical data).
- Run the charging cable through the cable clamp (3).
- Please note that charging when the engine is off may run down your vehicle’s battery.
• Always unplug the product from the cigarette lighter socket when it is not in use.
• If the product does not respond, check the fuse (see chapter “Care and cleaning > a) Fuse replacement”).

a) Fuse replacement
• Remove the rotating ring (12) by unscrewing it counter clockwise.
