User manual
Getting started
Turn off the computer.
Connect the USB adapter cable to a free USB type C port on your computer.
Important!
The USB type C port must be able to deliver video data (DisplayPort-compatible).
You cannot connect the adapter to a standard USB type C port that can deliver USB
data only (for example, a USB stick or similar). The adapter is not a regular USB
graphics card.
Read the instruction manual of the computer if your computer has multiple
USB type C ports to nd out which port to use for connecting the adapter. Typically,
only one of the USB type C ports can deliver video data, while the others are used
for the data only transmission to a USB stick, for example, or similar.
Connect your monitor to one of the outputs.
Important!
You cannot use all of the outputs at the same time. Note the following restrictions:
- HDMI output and VGA output can be used simultaneously.
- DVI-D output and VGA output can not be used simultaneously.
- DisplayPort output can only be used individually.
No cable/monitor should be connected to the other ports. A connected monitor may
not display any images, if this is not followed!
Turn on the computer again. The drivers required are included in the operating system and will
install automatically.
