9. Operation
Always pull the mains plug before filling the tank.
Never fill the tank with flammable liquids or add such to the fluid. Use only suitable water-based
fog liquids (for suitable fluids, see online on the product page under „Accessories“).
Never tilt the device. Liquids may leak out or enter the inside of the device and cause damage
there or injure the operator.
Make sure that no fluid enters the inside of the device when you are filling it with fog liquid. This
may cause damage to the device and potentially fatal electrical shock.
DMX operation always takes precedence over manual operation. Once a DMX signal is pen-
ding, manual mode is deactivated and the respective function trigger at the device is deactiva-
ted.
Ensure that the tank never runs empty during fog operation. If this happens anyway, the conveyor
pumpswitchesoautomatically.SwitchothedevicewithoutdelayusingthemainsbuttonON/
OFFandletitcoolo.
 Onlytopupthetankafterthedeviceiscooledo.Thelllevelofthetanksisevidentfromtank
fill level display on the side of the device.
Slight fog lag after deactivation/disconnection of a device is normal and does not suggest a
defect.
 Ifyounolongerrequirethedevice,disconnectthemainsplugandletthedevicecooldown.
 Thenemptythetank.Thispreventsleakingofliquidduringtransportorstorage.
a) Commissioning
• Ensurethatthemainsplugisnotpluggedin.
• Unscrewthetankcoverfromthedeviceandllfogliquidintothetank.Thelllevelcanbereadonthe
side at the tank fill display.
• Thenscrewonthetankclosurelidagain.
• Plugthemainsplugintoamainssocketwithaprotectivegroundcontact.
• SwitchthedeviceonusingtheON/OFFmainsswitch.Withthedeviceon,themainsswitchlightsupand
the device heats up.
• Heatinguptakesapprox.3-4minutes.Duringthisprocess,thedisplayindicatesWARMINGUP.
• Whenthedevicehasreachedoperatingtemperature,thedisplayshowsREADYHAZEandthedeviceis
ready.
• Thereisanadjustableairexitatthefogexitthatinuencestheejectiondirectionofthefog.Adjustthe
air guide sheet as desired after loosening the lateral knurled screw.
