Intended use
The plaster wall light is intended for illuminating indoor areas. Only install and use in
dry, closed indoor rooms. It is intended for wall mounting.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
re, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Explanation of symbols
The symbol with a lightning bold in a triangle is used if there is a hazard
to your health, for example due to electric shock.
This symbol indicates special hazards in handling, operation or usage.
If the safety glass is damaged it must be replaced immediately. Do not
use the product if the safety glass is damaged.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• At commercial premises the accident prevention provisions of the
professional association for electrical systems and equipment have to be
observed!
• Only install and use the product indoors in dry and closed rooms. The
product must not get damp or wet, as such conditions constitute a risk
of electric shock!
• Operate the product with mains voltage only (see chapter “Technical
data”). Never attempt to operate the product with other voltage, as this
might damage the product.
• The product is design as protective class I and can only be connected to
a power point with a special grounding conductor.
If a power point with a special grounding conductor is not available at
the place of installation, the product is not allowed to be connected/
operated there. In this case, install a new mains cable with protective
ground conductor.
• Never cover the product while it is in use.
• Never use the product without safety glass or with the safety glass
damaged.
• Do not touch the product during use. First, turn o the product and let it
cool down suciently. Failure to do so poses a risk of burning!
• Do not attach any objects (e.g. decorative materials) to the product -
danger of re!
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualied shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
Preparing installation
Installation of the product must be carried out by a qualied professional
(i.e. an electrician) who is familiar with all applicable regulations!
When handling mains voltage improperly, you will not only endanger
yourself but also others!
If you do not have the relevant expert knowledge, do not install the product
yourself, but have it done by an expert.
• Mount the product on a stable, vertical surface.
• Never mount the product in the vicinity of easily ammable materials (i.e. curtains,
fabrics, etc.). Make sure there is sucient room for ventilation around the product.
• When mounting the product, take into consideration the routing of the mains cable.
• A suitable switch is required for turning the product on and o.
• The product must be completely free of voltage for installation. Just turning o the
light via the switch does not make it entirely voltage-free.
• Turn o the corresponding circuit breaker and/or automatic fuse to remove all
voltage from the power circuit. Secure them against unauthorized restart, e.g. by
installing a warning sign. Also switch o the relevant circuit breaker in order to
disconnect all poles of the mains cable from the mains supply.
• Check the power circuit for any remaining voltage using an appropriate measuring
device.
Installation
Heed all information contained in the chapter “Preparing installation”.
Make sure that the cables are not squeezed, bent or damaged in any other
way. Do not exert any force when installing the product.
• Remove the wall mount from the backside of the product. In order to do so, unscrew
the two cap nuts.
• Use the wall mount as template and mark the position of both boreholes through the
big screw holes onto the wall.
When drilling or tightening screws, make sure not to damage any cables,
wires or pipes located underneath the surface.

• Drill both holes in the wall and insert the dowels. Attach the wall mount to the
mounting base using the two screws and tooth lock washers (g. 1).
