10. RDM-Features
RDM means Remote Device Management and creates a bidirectional connection between DMX controller
and effect light via the DMX connection. For this purpose, the DMX controller and the effect light should
be RDM-capable.
Via the standardised RDM protocol, the controller can identify connected devices, request their features
and configure them.
Manual settings, such as setting of the DMX starting address, etc., are thereby rendered mostly superflu-
ous.
The effect light supports the following RDM features
