l) Resetting the effect light to factory settings
• Select the option rSet in the menu SEt.
• Select YES to reset the effect light to the factory settings.
• Select no to not perform this operation.
m) Operation with static colour setting
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires 3, 5, 7 or 10 free DMX channels depending on DMX operating mode.
Setting the DMX starting address
• Set the desired DMX starting address (A001-A512) in the menu A001.
Setting the DMX operating mode
• Set the desired number of DMX channels (ch.05-ch.10) or the HSV mode (hsv) in the menu ChNd.
In HSV mode, the effect light is not controlled via RGB values but via the values hue, saturation
and value.
In this operating mode, e.g. colour progresses can be set by simple changing of the values for
hue.
The following tables provide information about the effects of the settings on the individual DMX channels.
