Solar house number
Item no. 808129
Intended use
This product is intended for use as backlit house number.
The integrated solar cell allows for the rechargeable batteries installed to be charged
as long as there is sucient ambient light. In case of low ambient light conditions the
built-in LEDs will be activated to illuminate the house number attached on the front.
That way the house number can be easily recognized at night (not just by visitors but
also by rescue services, etc.).
The solar house number must be installed in a shadow-free area on the south, east or
west of the house in order for the rechargeable batteries to be charged suciently.

c) Installing the house number
The solar house number must be installed in a shadow-free area on the
south, east or west of the house in order for the rechargeable batteries to be
charged suciently.
If installed on the north of the house, the rechargeable batteries cannot be
charged due to insucient sunlight on the solar cell and the LEDs of the
solar house number will not light up at night.
Also make sure to keep the solar cell free from snow during wintertime.
The light of a street lamp could cause the solar house number not to light
up.
The place of installation must hence be carefully selected before installing
the house number permanently to the surface of the house.
