Operation
The light can be operated using conventional
batteries or the USB cable provided.
a) Battery operation
1. Slide open the battery compartment cover on the
bottom of the product.
2. Place three AAA batteries into the battery
compartment, paying attention to the polarity
markings.
3. Close the battery compartment.
• Replace the batteries when the power of the light
decreases or when the light does not turn on.
b) Operation via USB connection
1. Connect the round plug on the USB cable
provided to the connection socket on the back
of the clamping foot.
2. Connect the USB-A plug to a USB power source
(5V, min. 500mA).
c) Securing the light
Clamp the light to a at and stable surface
(max.20mmthick) using the clamping foot.
d) Operation
The light can be controlled using the touch strip
on the lamp head. Three brightness levels are
available. Refer to the diagram below.
• Slide your nger in the ON direction to turn the
light on, or slide your nger in the OFF direction
to turn the light o.
• Touch the centre of the strip to change the
brightness level.
Maintenance and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing
alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the housing or even
impair the functioning of the product.
• The product does not require maintenance
except for occasional cleaning. The LED light
bulbs are rmly embedded and cannot be
replaced.
• Turn o the product and disconnect it from the
power supply (or remove the batteries) before
cleaning. Then leave the product to cool down
completely.
• Use a clean, soft and dry cloth to clean the
product. Do not press too hard on the housing as
this can lead to scratch marks.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste
and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of
the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery
Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of
them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labelled with
this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The
designations for the heavy metals involved
are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name
on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash
icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection
points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and
contribute to the protection of the environment.
