Instructions

Always replace the extruder unit with dry hands.
Ensure that the cables on the extruder unit are neither pinched nor damaged by
sharp edges.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of the 3D printer (item no.
1507428).
If you have questions which remain unanswered by these replacement instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Required tools
Side Cutter (supplied with item no. 1507428)
2 / 2.5 mm hex key (supplied with item no. 1507428)
Replace extruder unit
Danger of burns! Do not touch the hot nozzle. Let the 3D printer cool down to room
temperature before replacement.
Switch off the 3D printer, disconnect from the power supply before replacing the
extruder unit!

Switch the 3D printer off.
Remove the power cable.
Cut the existing lament in the extruder
with the side cutter.

Remove the screw at the side of the
protective case with the 2.5 mm hex key.
Remove the screw on the front of the
protective case with the 2 mm hex key.

Carefully detach the protective case.
Carefully remove cables.

Remove the screw on side of extruder.
Remove bottom screw.

Extruder unit for RF100
Item no. 1522157
Intended use
This component replaces the extruder unit installed in the 3D printer RF100 (item no. 1507428).
The extruder unit is equipped with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Replace the extruder unit, if the existing
one is damaged.
It is intended for indoor use only. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided
under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed

- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
The device may not be used in the vicinity of bathtubs, showers, swimming pools
or sinks. The product may not become wet.
Only operate the device in moderate climates, never in tropical climates.
The mechanical component was manufactured with high precision. Never apply
any force during replacement procedure. All parts can be assembled without any
great application of force. If this is not the case, rethink the assembly step and
re-read the corresponding description in these instructions.
Allocate sufcient time for the replacement procedure. Rushing leads to accidents
and product damage.
Work on a clean, soft and dry surface. Protect valuable furniture surfaces with a
suitable pad.
Exercise caution when replacing the product! The product has some sharp corners
which pose a risk of injury!
Always observe the instruction images during assembly. They depict work location
and correct alignment of components.
Do not over-tighten the screws. Over-tightening damages screws and impairs the
strength of screw connections.
