Intended use
This product is a night light designed to provide light in indoor areas. The LED night light works
with energy-saving LEDs, which consume signicantly less energy than normal incandescent light
bulbs. Both lights are ready for use immediately after inserting into a standard mains socket.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc. Read
the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together
with its operating instructions.

Meaning of symbols
The product must only be installed and used in dry, enclosed indoor areas. The
product must not become damp or wet as this generates the risk of a fatal electric
shock!
This symbol indicates that the product is built according to protection class II. It is
equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the mains circuit and the
output voltage.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Do not place or hang any objects on the product (e.g. decorations). This creates a
re hazard!
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the beam
directly or with optical instruments!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply and
putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or put objects lled with liquid right
next to the device. If liquid or an object enters the interior of the device nevertheless,
rst power down the respective socket (e.g. switch o circuit breaker) and then
pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Do not operate the product anymore
afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never connect or disconnect the product if your hands are wet.
• Only disconnect the product from the mains using the grips provided.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the product from the mains socket during storms.
• Do not mount and use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental conditions
that contain or may contain ammable gases, vapours or dust! There is a risk of
explosion!
• The LED lights cannot be changed. If the light comes into contact with moisture,
disconnect it from the mains. Let the light dry out completely before using it again.
• The product must be not be operated using a dimmer.
• Avoid using the product near strong magnetic elds, such as near machines or
loudspeakers.
• The product must only be operated using the mains voltage (see "Technical data"
section). Never try to operate the product using another type of voltage as this will
destroy the product.
• The product was constructed according to protection class II.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualied shop.

Operation
1. Insert the mains plug (3) into a suitable mains socket.
2. Then choose another mains socket and insert the second unit if desired. You can use the red
and blue lights to guide you better in the dark. For example, red to blue guides you away from
the bed, and blue to red guides you back, or vice versa.
3. The night light turns on as soon as the brightness of the surroundings drops to or below a
certain level (5lx). When it gets brighter again (at approx. 75lx), the night light turns o. The
colour of the light corresponds to the cover (2).
Ensure that the photocell (1) is not covered with opaque material. This would cause
the photocell's internal switch to turn the night light on permanently, even when
not needed.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• You do not need to carry out maintenance work on the product. Leave maintenance or repair
work to an expert. The LED light bulbs are rmly embedded and cannot be changed.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the mains by removing the mains plug, or turn o
the mains voltage for the light; let the light cool down suciently.
• You can use a clean, soft and dry cloth to clean the product. Dust can be easily removed using
a clean and soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
