e) Use with an External DMX Controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the eect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The eect light requires 3 or 6 free DMX channels depending on DMX operating mode.
Setting the DMX operating mode
Set >> 6 ch in menu ChNd to operate the device in 6-channel DMX operation.
Set >> 3 ch in menu ChNd to operate the device in 3-channel DMX operation.
Setting the DMX starting address
Push the button FUNC until Addr is displayed and push the button ENTER.
Select the desired starting address 001-507 with the UP and DOWN buttons.
Confirm your selection again with ENTER.
The following tables provide information about the eects of the settings on the individual DMX channels.
