9. Electric Connection

Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.

a) Connection of the Remote Control

• Install the connection cable for the wired remote control up to the site from which you are going to con-

trol the device.

• The rear of the remote control is magnetic. The remote control thus sticks to metal objects.

b) Connection of a DMX Controller

Only connect the device to a DMX controller with a DMX-512 protocol.

• Connect the port DMX IN (3) with the output of the DMX controller.

• Use a screened XLR cable for this. The controller must have 7 free control channels.

• Connect DMX OUT (7) with the DMX input of the subsequent device.

• If the eect light is the last or the only device in the DMX chain, insert an plug with a 120 ohm/0.25 W

terminating resistor into the DMX OUT (7) socket (between Pin2 and Pin3).

Pin assignment of the DMX connection: Pin1 = earth / Pin2 = (-) / Pin3 = (+).
