You will find the sticker with usual specification and 3
screws on the back panel of the device (4). By loosen-
ing the screws you can open the device to change the
batteries (see Replacing the batteries).
Maintenance
Cleaning the device
To clean the device of any dirt, wipe it with a dry cloth.
Never use any damp cloths, sponges or rags to clean the device. Moisture may ingress
and damage the device!
Battery safety notes:
Batteries should be kept out of the reach of children.
Do not leave batteries lying around; there is a risk of them being swallowed by children or domes-
tic animals. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable
protective gloves.
Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
Do not recharge conventional non-rechargeable batteries; risk of explosion! Only recharge re-
chargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
Please observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
Remove the battery from the device if you will not be using it for a longer period.
Replacing the batteries
To replace the battery, remove the screws on the back panel of the device using an appropriate
screwdriver. Take off the cover and remove the battery.
Insert a new battery (12 V, type 27 A) into the housing and replace the protective cover.
Make sure that all screws are tightened and the cover is fitted into the initial position.
Otherwise, there is a possibility of moisture or dirt ingress into the inside, which may
damage the device.
Make sure also that all three screws are set in their respective initial positions.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
Remove the battery if there is one inserted and dispose of it separately from the prod-
uct.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery regulation) to return used batteries. Do not dis-
pose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with
the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The sym-
bols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can
be seen on the battery / rechargeable battery, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol
shown on the left).
You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official collection
points in your municipality, our stores, or where ever (rechargeable) batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Operating instructions
433 MHz remote control

Intended use
DA-12 is a 4-channel remote key with operating frequency 433 MHz.
It is compatible with the receivers DA-2800, DA-2311 and AD-2322 and has four buttons (A, B, C, D)
capable of activating 4 channels (1, 2, 3 and 4) of the receiver unit.
Please read the user’s manual carefully and do not discard it.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.

Safety instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention to the
safety instructions. We do not assume liability for injuries/material damages resulting
from failure to observe the safety instructions and the information in these operating
instructions regarding the proper handling of the product. Furthermore, in such cases,
the warranty/guarantee will be null and void.
Keep the device away from the strong magnetic fields. Their influence may damage
the device.
The device must never contact with moisture. Water or similar liquids may seriously
damage the device.
Keep the radio remote control unit away from the hands of small children as they
may hurt themselves. The device is not a toy!
Tampering with the device will make the warranty null and void.
No warranty is also assumed for consequential damage resulting from tampering
with the device or misuse thereof.
Use the device only with the designated alkaline battery type 27 A/12 V.
Operating principle
1) Press the button of the corresponding channel.
2) The status LED glows, when the radio key is in transmitting mode.
The status LED does not light up if the device is faulty or the battery of the radio key
must be replaced (see the chapter Battery replacement).
The device is always transmitting, when a button is pressed. Unintentional depression
of the buttons may lead to shortening of the battery life.
Front
Controls (2), (3) and the device status LED (1) are
located on the front of the device.
(1) Status LED:
The status LED lights up in the transmission
mode i.e. briefly after a button is pressed.
The status LED does not light up after the button is pressed if the device is faulty or the
battery of the device must be replaced (see the chapter ‘Replacing the batteries’).
(2) Button D:
If this button is pressed, the receiver triggers the doorbell function.
(3) Buttons A, B, C:
If these buttons are pressed, the receiver activates outputs 1, 2 and 3.
(5) Key hanger:
The key ring of the remote is attached to this element.
