11. Maintenance
Theproductismaintenance-freeforyou.Servicingorrepairmustonlybecarriedoutbyaspecialistorspecialist
workshop.Theproductcontainsnopartsthatrequireservicingbyyou.Therefore,donotopenit.
Regularly check the technical safety of the effect light, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the casing.
Ifyouhavereasontobelievethatthedevicecannolongerbeoperatedsafely,disconnectitimmediatelyandmake
sureitisnotoperatedunintentionally.Pullthemainsplugfromthemainssocket!
Itcanbeassumedthatsafeoperationisnolongerpossibleif:
• the device is visibly damaged
• the device no longer works
• thedevicehasbeenstoredunderunfavourableconditionsforanextendedperiodoftimeor
• afterexposuretoextraordinarystresscausedbytransport
Before cleaning the effect light, observe the following safety instructions:
• Alwaysdisconnecttheproductfromthepowersupplybeforecleaningit.
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
Only electricians familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must perform ser-
vice work or repairs.
a) Cleaning
The outside of the effect light should only be cleaned with a soft, dry or slightly moistened cloth.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the casing.
