b) Use with an External DMX Controller
EachDMXdeviceinaDMXchainrequiresaso-calledDMXstartingaddresstobeclearlyidentiedbythe
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the eect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
Theeectlightrequires9or11freeDMXchannels.
Setting the DMX starting address
• PushthebuttonMENU(2)until"Addr"isdisplayedandpushthebuttonENTER(5).
• Selectthedesiredstartingaddress001-512withtheDOWN(3)andUP(4)buttons.
• PushtheENTERbutton(5)toconrmyourselection.
Setting the DMX operating mode
• PushthebuttonMENU(2)until"ChNd"isdisplayedandpushthebuttonENTER(5).
• SelectthedesiredoperatingmodewiththeDOWN(3)andUP(4)buttons:

• PushtheENTERbutton(5)toconrmyourselection.
Once a DMX signal is recognised at the DMX input DMX IN, the device will switch to DMX mode.
All other operating modes are deactivated.
