Intended use
This product is designed for use as an indoor and outdoor light. The light is IP67 certied
and can be mounted and operated both indoors and outdoors. The IP protection rating
is only guaranteed when the product is installed properly. The light must be mounted
in a position that protects it against moisture, dirt and excessive heat. This product
is designed to be mounted on a oor or wall. This product is only approved for use
together with a separately available light bulb specied in the "Technical data" section.
The light can be dimmed using an external dimmer (provided that the light bulb is
dimmable).
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
re, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Meaning of symbols
The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used if there is a risk to
your health, e.g. due to an electric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates specic risks associated with
handling, function and use.
The “arrow” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The round protective glass is defective and must be replaced
immediately. The product must not be used when the protective glass
is defective.
The square protective glass is defective and must be replaced
immediately. The product must not be used when the protective glass
is defective.
You can walk or drive over the product (loads of up to 1000 kg
at 8 km/h).
0.3 m
This symbol indicates the minimum distance to illuminated surfaces
(0.3 m).
The product is dustproof and protected against contact as well as
against temporary submersion under water.
All metal parts that could carry voltage in the event of a fault during
operation and maintenance must be electrically connected to the
protective earth conductor.
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instructions included
with the product.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• Never cover the product. The surface gets hot; covering the product not
only constitutes a re hazard but may also cause it to overheat, which can
damage the product.
• The light gets very hot. Let it cool down suciently before you touch it.
• Keep the product away from ammable materials and objects.
• Do not secure any objects (e.g. decorations) to the product.
• In the event of any damage, particularly on the housing (seal!), which
means that the product can no longer be operated safely, turn o the
power supply immediately, discontinue use and ensure that the product
is not used again!
• Repairs must only be carried out by a technician, and only original
replacement parts may be used!
• Before connecting to the mains, make sure that your local AC mains
voltage matches the specications on the nameplate. Never try to operate
the product using another type of voltage, as this will destroy the product.
• In order to avoid the risk of re and prevent eye injuries, do not look
directly at the light source and never point the light directly at people or
animals!
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments! Always follow this guidance
when using an LED light bulb.
• The product is designed according to protection class I; the earth wire
must be connected.
• This product was constructed according to IP67 certication standards.
It is fully dustproof and protected against contact. It is also protected
against temporary submersion in water and can be mounted and operated
both indoors and outdoors. However, never mount the product in or under
water.
• Always ensure that the power supply is disconnected before mounting the
product, changing the light bulb or carrying out other work on the product.
• Ensure that you mount the light in the correct mounting position (see
"Mounting and connection" section), otherwise there is a risk of a fatal
electric shock!
• Do not mount and use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental
conditions that contain or may contain ammable gases, vapours or dust!
There is a risk of explosion!
• In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical
equipment and facilities issued by the Industrial Employers' Liability
Association must be adhered to!
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualied shop.
