b) Use with DMX Controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the eect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The eect light requires 5 or 13 DMX channels depending on DMX operating mode.
Setting the DMX operating mode (channel number)
Press MODE/ESC (1) repeatedly until Addr appears.
Push the button ENTER (4) until 5CH or 13CH appears.
Use the buttons UP (2) or DOWN (3) to select the desired DMX operating mode.
5CH = 5-channel DMX mode
13CH = 13-channel DMX mode
Press the ENTER button (4) to confirm your input.
Setting the DMX starting address
Press MODE/ESC (1) repeatedly until Addr appears.
Push the button ENTER (4) until Axxx (xxx = set DMX start address) appears.
Use the buttons UP (2) or DOWN (3) to select the desired DMX starting address.
Press the ENTER button (4) to confirm your input.
The following tables provide information about the eects of the settings on the individual DMX channels.
