Manual DCF reception attempt
To perform a manual search for the DCF signal (e.g. when you have changed the location of the
radio wall clock), press the “+” button and hold it for about two seconds.
Then, release the “+” button again.
This will start a manual reception attempt. Then, as described above, wait for a few minutes until
the current time is displayed.
Setting the Time Manually
It is necessary to set the time manually, if the radio wall clock is to be used outside the
reception range of the DCF signal, or if the DCF reception is impaired by environmental
conditions.
Press the ZONE button for about two seconds, until the year display flashes.
Set the year by pressing the “+” or “-” buttons.
To confirm, press the ZONE button set month, date, hours and minutes proceeding as described
above.
Press the ZONE button again for confirmation.
If you keep the “+” or “-” buttons pressed when making the settings, the values are
changed continuously.
Display features
Press the “+” or “-” buttons to show the desired information on the LC display.
You can set the following items: Year, month, day, minutes or seconds.
The set item is applied and displayed continuously.
Setting the Time Zone
Press the ZONE button. The set location (e.g. “FF” for Frankfurt/Main) is shown on the LC display.
To change the location, press the ZONE button until the location flashes.
Set the desired time zone by pressing the buttons “+” or “-” and using the following table.
Confirm the setting by pressing the ZONE button.
Set the desired option for the summer/winter time with the “+” or “-” buttons and confirm the
selection with the ZONE button.

Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discolouration of the case.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
Remove the batteries if there are batteries inserted and dispose of them separately
from the product.
b) Normal and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled with the
symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste is forbidden. The sym-
bols of the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking
can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. underneath the refuse bin symbol
shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection
points of your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable batteries
are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
