8.10 Port C
Port C is a 6-bit I/O port. Port C pins also function as PWMX output, and IIC_2 and IIC_3
input/output. The output format of ports C0 to C3 is NMOS push-pull output. Port C has the
following registers.
• Port C data direction register (PCDDR)
• Port C output data register (PCODR)
• Port C input data register (PCPIN)
8.10.1 Port C Data Direction Register (PCDDR)
PCDDR is used to specify the input/output attribute of each pin of port C.
Bit Bit Name Initial Value R/W Description
7 PC7DDR 0 W
6 PC6DDR 0 W
5 ⎯ 0 W
4 ⎯ 0 W
3 PC3DDR 0 W
2 PC2DDR 0 W
1 PC1DDR 0 W
The corresponding port C pins function as output port
when the PCDDR bits are set to 1, and as input port
when cleared to 0.
This register is assigned to the same address as that
of PCPIN. When this address is read, the port C
states are returned.
Bits 5 and 4 are reserved.
