22.3.4 Communication Modes and Pin Functions
The SSU switches functions of the input/output pin in each communication mode according to the
settings of the MSS bit in SSCRH and the RE and TE bits in SSER. Table 22.2 shows the
relationship between communication modes and the input/output pins. In bidirectional
communication mode, the TE and RE bits should not be set to 1 at the same time.
